On September 30th 2024 I hired Shane Owner Operator S&K Grading, to do a simple scrape grade fill, for Single Family new Construction. I am 74 working as A Owner Builder on my Dream Home I met with Shane and we discussed Cost required for this scope of work
On 4-30 I signed a Contract which included a deposit of 16,166.00
Received my Building Permit from Collier County on August 24Th
Shane immediately moved his Equipment to the job site, a Fantastic Start.He was there the next morning and within 30 minutes of running his machine, stopped and informed me he broke the Belt, which he would replace within 3 days, however it took 2 weeks.
Shane owner operator of S&K Grading has a PHD in Excuses and Lies.
Finally he got the machine repaired and working now requiring 33,334.00 to secure Fill Dirt as prices were escalating.
On Sept 27th S&K had the site ready for Fill Dirt. On September 29th I had the Silt Fence installed.
From September 29th to October 14th more Lies about Fill Dirt being delivered etc, at this point I realized I have been conned!!!, so I asked him to move his Equipment off my property.
On October 14th I made arrangements for another Escavator to finish which they completed in 2 days. My site was prepared compacted with 2 feet of Fill Dirt ready for footings.
This Escavating Co Owner Shane uses the Flag and his service to our beautiful country, to Lie Cheat, Steal from the elderly.
I finally have the time for this as I am weeks away from finishing my Dream
