Tevita Fakahau
I hired Tevita Fakahau in 2015 to pour the slabs for my construction loan. He begged for the job and his bid was so low, we increased it by $3,000. He did not compact the ground correctly, if at all, and did not pin the slabs to the foundation as requested. The slabs have sunk several inches by the foundation and are very uneven. He disappeared for several weeks and cost me a lot of money in daily interest payments on my construction loan. I had to dismantle the stucco contractors scaffolding and then pay them to reassemble it. I had to do the rebar work on the porch slab to try and speed up the job. When he finally reappeared, he accused me of trying to rip him off, even though he was paid $3,000 more than his bid. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TEVITA FAKAHAU TO ANYONE AS HIS WORK SUCKS. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. IF HE HAD ANY INTEGRITY HE WOULD COME AND FIX THIS MESS, BUT I KNOW THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
