I would NOT recommend this contractor to anyone - Ever! Scott, the main "Sales" person, is just that - a sales person that has no idea how to do the work, or what is actually involved. We hired his company for a pretty big renovation project for our house, gave him the deposit for "Materials" and when it came to the day to start - he called to say his "team" couldn't make it. Then every day - for three weeks it was one excuse after another on why they couldn't make it - but BIG promises that they would show tomorrow. He promised us DOUBLE our deposit if we would just trust him to make this right - He was never able to make it right - and he still has yet to refund what he owes us. He ignores text messages, doe not return calls, and avoids following through on anything. WORST contractor experience ever!

It has been months since we gave up on Scott and his sham of a company. I finally found another reviewer with a similar experience to mine (Fw on 8/18/19). We initially interviewed a handful of contractors to renovate our basement before choosing Scott because the price was reasonable, and he seemed to be willing to customize our design and offer creative suggestions. It was all a scam. My initial hesitation was requesting 50% down upfront ($4500 in cash), to which I let him know my concern is that we wouldn't be treated with priority once he had half of project budget upfront. To ease my concern, he sent a detailed calendar of exactly what would happen each day. Sure enough, they couldn't show up the first day, then everyday after that was an excuse after excuse. The workers that did show up, the drywallers were clearly inexperienced and sat around smoking constantly. Not one aspect was completed and the work that was done had to be redone by another contractor we hired to finish the shoddy work. Scott promised to give us our FULL deposit back, but we never saw a penny. Doesn't return phone calls or emails, just sends bibles worth of texts when he's begging to keep your business. He admitted to us he was closing his business because he couldn't fulfill his commitments, but if he's still in operation, the general public needs to know the truth: he's a con artist.
