S&R Roofing Solutions

I contracted with S & R do some repairs to my shake shingle roof which is pushing about 17 years of age, and they did a dynamic job of making certain that the repairs were done timely and correctly. Due to a wind storm (common in Nebraska), I had some shakes break loose, I called Shane who came to examine the roof, and concluded that repairing the troubled areas would be a logical solution for the roof, rather than involving the insurance company, where it would likely have taken several weeks to effort the repairs, claims, etc... I deliberated for a couple of days, and did get a few other bids, but just was not comfortable with anyone else due to their lack of interest in this project. Most every other contractor either only wanted to do the entire roof, or was so far out on their bid....which told me they just flat out did not want to "mess" with my project.

While Shane had other large projects at the time, he realized that my issue was just as important, and took the time to show genuine interest in me and my property. This indication to me he truly has a vested interest in his customers, and their satisfaction, but more importantly: The quality of work he delivers. From my learning, and in large part due to Shane and his crew, repairing a roof is much more of a challenge than to reshingle the entire area, and this requires talent and skill. This was very clear with the overall finished product as we had our entire roof caps replaced, and spots that were scorched, loose and weather damaged as well.

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of our roof repairs and highly recommend Shane and his crew to anyone who is looking to replace/repair their roof. I believe that most contractors have skills to replace and entire roof, but it takes talent combined with skill to do repairs to an existing roof, and make it look and work in a seamless manner.
