Did maybe 20% of the demolition work, probably less, on the first weekend. He states that it would take a weekend to get done, which did not happen . Proceeded to make excuses and outright lie about coming out to finish the project, so we terminated the contract. Paid the general contractor 50% up front. Requested a refund which he gave an low number considering the work that had been done. Attempted to contact him and tell him that it was not an acceptable amount, but have not been able to get in contact with him since. Very disappointed in the service and would not recommend him to anyone at this time.

Payment of $28,140.13 was received by Sahene Construction on March 1st, 2021. No email of delay was sent. March 31st, I sent an email wishing to terminate my contract, I spoke with Caleb to try to reconcile this completing article 9.1: After giving 14 days written notice and an opportunity to commence and continue to cure alleged cause, terminate the contract. Per Caleb's schedule work was to start April 15th, 2021 there was a material delay but in writing work was still scheduled to start April 15th no later than April 16th. On April 19th I was informed the materials were still delayed and I was unsure of moving forward with Sahene being that I gave more than 14 days to reconcile, and all promises were not delivered. Caleb Morrow informed me the finance team was pulling the information for reconciliation, but we discussed moving forward. I agreed to move forward with the assurance I would receive step by step information and work would begin. They spent $8044.38 on material. April 28th material was delivered to my house. No one was available to load the material into my house. I gathered the personnel to secure the material inside, so they did not get damaged or stolen. I relocated to South Carolina so this was difficult. My neighbor was very helpful and even covered some of the material so it wouldn’t get rained on. I asked for a timeframe when work would be started and was informed, they cannot give me an estimated start date. On April 30th I sent an email on builder trend asking for an estimated start date and an update with no answer. Due to the lack of communication and them May 4th, I asked to terminate my contract. Caleb agreed. May 6th, I reached out via email for reconciliation information and a timeframe for a refund with no response. May 7th, I reached out for information on reconciliation. Caleb Morrow responded with the timeframe of a refund on May 11th. They offered me a refund of $6000.00 if I would sign a gag order. I didn’t write any reviews because I tried to go the legal route. Their attorney reached out to me and claimed I would get a $20,000 refund but then never reached back out. They ignored the court and my attorney and tried to price me out and wait for me to go away. Unfortunately since I am not in Louisiana anymore and that worked. I couldn’t afford to fight it anymore. They use stolen money and others to take advantage of people who have been through the hardest part of their lives. I cannot believe it is 4 years later and they are still taking advantage of natural disaster victims. Please learn from my mistake and listen to the review.
