We met with several contractors before deciding to use Salbo construction to make several improvements on our home, including, but not limited to our driveway, kitchen and bathrooms. This family owned and operated business, not only knows all the ins and outs of contracting, but they also do impeccable work in a timely manner. They were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable in all areas of construction. They had our permits handled very quickly, and they kept us involved every step of the way.

I had a large project with Salbo Construction worth over $300,000 and I'm very pleased with the results. The only downside was that the project took longer than anticipated with the permits from the city but the Salbo team kept me updated on all progress which is all I could ask. I really appreciated the attention to detail taken by the team at Salbo Construction. I like that they sent us each proposal for specific approval before moving forward with any specific trade. The work also turned out beautifully with high quality finishes. No complaints, I would highly recommend.

Great General Contractor, they took on my complex addition project even though no other GC wanted to do it. I am really happy I found Salbo Construction. Construction in South Florida is very complicated. Nothing like up north! Glad I got to deal with them.

- Building permit records show that Salbo Construction Inc has worked on 304 permitted projects.
"WARNING" As you can see from all the other reviews, Salbo Construction’s system is always the same: they start the work and then never finish it, constantly asking for more money. In our case, they were unable to obtain the permits and every time an inspector came, the work always required corrections, and they never managed to secure the final approvals. Naturally, we turned to a lawyer, who discovered that they inflate invoices and don’t fully pay subcontractors, while still demanding full payment from us. The most outrageous thing is that they asked us to pay for the kitchen cabinets, which we did, but the cabinets were NEVER ordered!
This company worked for us with the sole intention of starting our project and NEVER completing it. With excuses about permits and other shady reasons, they think they can drag things on indefinitely. But this will no longer be the case, because we are ready to take full legal action. For those who, like us, have had the misfortune of dealing with Salbo Construction, I urge you to contact us and join our effort to put an end to this disgraceful practice carried out by Salbo Construction Inc. We have also filed a complaint against Salbo Construction with the DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) so that their license will be suspended. We will also file a police report.
Furthermore, for those who, like us, came across Salbo Construction Inc. through the pool company Latham, be warned: despite our repeated reports, they continue to promote Salbo Construction Inc. as an installer, washing their hands by claiming to have no relationship with them, and yet they still recommend them as a pool installer on their behalf even today! Needless to say, they weren’t even able to get an inspector’s visit to test the water pressure in the pipes or to obtain the permit.
