  hardwood refinishing of 6 rooms plus hallway and staircase

  We needed to get a 5 BR house ready to go on the market after 20+ yrs of raising four boys on the property. The floors had not been refinished in over 15 years, and in addition a Dalmatian dog in our family from 2001-2015 had done some damage where we kept her food and water bowls. Mr. Salguero (Elizandro) was the best contractor with whom we worked (we were also undertaking painting, tile work, etc.). Elizandro had come highly recommended by a pair of top Bethesda real estate agents who have been referring clients to him for some time. He arrived when promised to do an estimate, and he returned a week later when we realized we needed to refinish additional rooms. He worked out an extremely fair price for the now larger-scale job. Elizandro was charming in putting us at ease when we realized all the places our various children's chairs and other furniture had done damage. There was an area inside a large closet where the previous owner had failed to complete the flooring properly, probably in the 1960s. It had been covered by blankets and my shoes & boots for the 2 decades we lived in the house, and I had apparently not taken much notice of it before purchasing the house. The wood was completely uneven, as though the work had been interrupted or carried out incompetently. This was an unanticipated labor-intensive project, and Elizandro worked with us to contain the additional cost of this, to ensure that the entire room, including the closet, would present well to potential buyers. Elizandro's crew showed up on time, on the appointed day, and finished the large job within 3 days. After drying for 3 days, the floors looked gorgeous. Elizandro is a dedicated craftsman who will achieve elegance for your home at prices rarely seen in the DC area.

  Refinished a parquet floor and did great work. Managed to work around a tight timeframe (we were looking to sell) and electrical power constraints (older building could not handle a 240v machine). Will definitely use again for our next floor refinishing project.

  We had Elizandro Salguero refinish our hardwood floors and were amazed at the results! The floors had never been refinished and looked awful, when he finished it look amazing! We are absolutely in love with our floors. We would highly recommend his team, they were always on time to the minute and extremely neat. Their prices were very reasonable. We can't say enough about their work. Thank you~
