Sam Damm Roofing installed a metal roof for me last June, and I couldn't be happier. This is a good, reliable, local, family owned company that has been in business for many years. Since I like to support small businesses, and I liked their quote (I got seven quotes for the new roof), I went with them.
The men arrived when they said they would, and worked hard. They picked up the mess daily, and went around with a magnet at least three times a day, so I wasn't left with any debris. The quality of their work is really, really good, and my building inspector was happy, which counts for a lot. The roofers also installed the exterior part of a tube skylight, and did an excellent job. When my inside contractor took down the kitchen ceiling, the tube for the skylight was right where he needed it.
I would, and have, recommended Sam Damm Roofing. They were so easy to deal with, and did such an excellent job with my turquoise metal roof, and their price for the same gauge metal roofing was far lower than some of the larger companies.

absolutely no good. Would not let them roof my dog house. Terrible customer service, never return phone calls and the two roofs that I paid them to fix still leak and have caused more damage. When I called to complain about my service they did not even have my original paper work or contract I had to supply them with a copy. Absolutely terrible service will never use them again. they don't deserve the one star rating but you cannot give no stars

The contract we signed with Damn roofing stated the price was to include any materials necessary including replacement wood where necessary, flashing, whatever it needed. The roof looked great. With the first rain the roof leaked in every spot it had leaked before they had done the whole roof. In the ten year guarantee no leak period it has leaked every time it has rained, every time. I have found water damaged wood that was not replaced, they used nails that actually caused leaks that they never found. I found that the never flashed where the second floor meats the first floor roof, oh they said they flashed it but didn't! My roof was a wreck.... aftet they "finished"! I paid good money, what a joke! What a waste! When i called for the leak they would send someone out, talk to me. They would come back, usually the next day when I was at work, do whatever and I would wait until it rained again. Every time, every time the roof leaked! I dont think they even cared. They even got annoyed with me. Don not, do not ever use this criminal! Criminal! I will scream it from the mountain tops! DO NOT EVER USE DAMN ROOFING, YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND TIME! !!
