  Exterior painting and garage frame repair

  $1,042

  I was a fool to pay him $1,000 to do painting some overhead deck boards and skirt. Also to replace four pieces of wood on garage frame which includes patching and painting some other wood on garage frame. The finished product was ok but it took two guys eight hours and it should not have been more than about four. One of the two guys spent almost as much time smoking and on phone as he "worked ". I will not rehire him and won't recommend him.

  Lay new concrete on sidewalk

  BEWARE!!!! Terrible company! DO NOT pay in full until all work has been completed satisfactorily . Otherwise Sam will run off with your money and give one million excuses why he can't make it back to your property to finish the job. Very unprofessional and uses his church affiliation to get over on folks . Do not do business with this scam artist. Work is sub par. I contacted him to lay concrete sidewalk. 2 months later, concrete is cracking.

  Bathroom remodel

  Sam Steigerwalt is a THIEF AND FRAUD. I'm being quite generous providing him "1 star". I had a bathroom remodeled and signed a contract. Part of that contract was for painting. His painter did not complete the job and he really didn't seem to care, however, when we sat down to go over the last installment, he advised me that because the ceiling (in a very small bathroom-it may have taken ½ hour to complete) was painted too that it was an additional $100.00. Please be advised that he NEVER mentioned this to me until we sat down to complete the final transaction. The more disturbing part of this transaction was when he took supplies back to Home Depot (we could not use them and had to replace only a bathroom fan that was the incorrect size) and provided a credit slip on my credit card to the tune of $228.00. He explains that he had to get the right supplies, however, when I asked for the receipt for those new supplies purchased he could not produce it. He expected me to just pay the $228.00. His explanation..."I don't keep very good track of receipts. I don't have it". Funny - he couldn't find the receipt for the correct supplies that he supposedly "purchased" but he had the slip for the $228.00 that I owed him????. This man talks a good game and claims to be quite the Christian. More like a wolf in sheep's clothing! I am most angry with myself for writing the check. He said he would try to locate the receipt. I have called several times and left a voice mail. As of this date, he has not returned any of my calls. The next time that I see him will be in front of a District Magistrate. It is no longer about the money, it's about the principal that he thinks it's ok to treat people in such an unprofessional manner. I don't want this to happen to someone else. I will say that the construction personnel did a good job, but the boss is a DISGRACE! DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!!!

  Sam has done 3 jobs for us. He completely removed and replaced the bedroom floor in our son's mobile home, replaced the storm door and added a roof to the porch. All jobs were done timely and with good quality workmanship. I will call him again if we need further work done. Sam is easy to reach and great to deal with.

  Install ceiling tile

  Sam Steigerwalt himself is a fraud... We had construction work to be done at our home. He told both my wife and I in front of his worker to give the worker the check when the work is finished. The worker did do a good job,but the work is not finished as the worker said upon leaving. I have tried to conact Sam with no call backs. Please do not do business with his FRAUD, he will take you.

  Con and Theif

  Delivered product to Sam Steigerwalt and he claimed we shorted him. He apparently did not account for not having a complete level surface and was short on his own measurments by litterally only a couple of 5 gallon buckets. Sam did not want to pay for additional product sent to him and was to pay for the first delivery by credit card he did not. Did not return calls for payment and did not pay for any product. Sam Steigerwalt is a con and a theif. Please think three times over before hiring Sam Steigerwalt from New Cumberland PA TO DO ANY JOB.

  Electrical work, mainly baseboards

  We had work done by Sam in the past, job was complete with no problems. Recently, we needed electrical work done, the work was not completed, not working properly when they left. They promised that they would be back, did not keep appointment times, kept changing. Unfortunately, the bill was paid, work still not complete, baseboard not working, does not return nightly phone calls. Would not recommend this business to anyone.
