We hired Samuel Fortin (Misty Mountain Mechanical) to replace our kitchen sink and garbage disposal. He did the work while we were not home. After the completion of the work, we found nicks and spots on the sink and reported to him. His response was "I did the work - if you don't pay me I will have to go to your home and take the sink and garbage disposal out and you will be left with a hole in the kitchen", So we asked him to fix the issue. He came and also brought an assistant to work on the issue. They were there for more than an hour with no one else present. Then he reported that he fixed the issue. We paid him in full at this point. When we inspected the work, we found that he and probably his assistant actually went through every room of our house - even used the bathroom on the second floor and left it dirty. When I asked him why he had to go upstairs when ALL his work was in the kitchen, he said he sent his assistant to use the bathroom. There is a bathroom right by the kitchen!!!! I still have not got a proper answer as to why he had to go through the upstairs. Then when I used the kitchen sink, I found it leaking. Found that there was a crack in the stainless steel sink which is brand new. I reported to Sam immediately - he apologized and offered to come. Within an hour he sends a text 'Hey sorry I'm just really busy not going to make it I'm almost still very disappointed in how you were treating me last time we talked and I believe you need to find another plumber". So he bailed after getting paid in full. he is rude and totally untrustworthy. Checking out the whole house while there is nobody, leaving bathrooms dirty and then not standing by the quality of his job. DON'T HIRE HIM.
