Do not hire this contractor they took my money and never finished my pool I paid them for the pool and they did not put up the screen enclosure which was included in the contract. I had to have the enclosure installed by another contractor. They said they would refund me the $5,000.00 that I paid them but they won't. They won't answer any calls and have locked up their office. Do not give them any money. They are being investigated as of this writing by the Department of Business & Professional Regulation. The owner does not live in Florida and has never been at my address , the representative Walter Rowley isn't even a licensee contractor and he uses unlicensed contractors to do his work. "DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY" IT DOSE NOT EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR RATING

If there was a way to give no stars that would be the more accurate rating for this company. Not only was there work below the contracted expectations, but the owner of the company took off with our money and left us with an unfinished pool. Before he took off we alerted him to the fact that the pool was not the agreed upon size it's 10ft more narrow than our contract describes and his response was sue me! Please don't give your money to these scammers!

We hired them in Oct 2015 to put in a small inground pool the project took 10 months with so many headaches. They failed so many city inspections due to their own fault and made so many mistakes that didn't get fixed till after the pool was finally completed. We decided to hold back the last payment of $2500 on the $22500 we already paid them till it passed the last inspection. They never take responsibility for anything, they blame everyone else. The savings was not worth the headache by any means. I can't even begin to tell you all that went wrong unless I write a book.

- Building permit records show that Sand Dollar Pool and Spa has worked on 90 permitted projects.
We also used Sand Dollar Pool and Spa. It took over 1 year to complete our spa/pool - with many, many, many text messages and calls. Our pool was not as deep as we argued too, and we held back last payment only to find out that is paid directly to the screen enclosure subcontractor.
No the problem, the tile around all six jets cracked, and buckled up and out. Apartently, the tile guy filled in the gaps around the jets pipes with the wrong materials, any dried or cured. If you have or have this problem in the future, let me now. I’ll send pics before and after, cost to fix and name of contractor currently doing the repairs.
