We just finished our home with this company in 2016. It was an absolute nightmare. Semi-nice guy, but a terrible builder. Most of his subs would agree with that statement. Very unorganized throughout the whole process and I felt like me and my wife were basically doing it ourselves as we had to constantly remind him to set things up and get things done with subs and relay our wishes to them. After many a screw-up, we started getting the subs phone numbers from him and calling them directly to ensure things were getting done right. We went way over on the cost of the home from what he bid and that is due to him estimating most if not all of the numbers instead of actually getting our plans bid out. He then proceeds to blame all the overages on us when we had communicated everything we wanted to him from the first meeting before the bid and didn't deviate from those wishes. His framing crew did an absolutely terrible job and it shows in many places, and he himself will accept no blame for anything. We have heard that other homeowners have had similar experiences to ours and many have considered walking away from their large earnest money deposits (including us!) to get out of the nightmares he creates. Please use our experience to save yourselves from having to deal with this company!!
