    $200,000

    Joe presents a cooperative appearance, but doesn't show up or do the work when promised, makes repeated promises and doesn't show up (sometimes for a week or more), or sending 1-2 guys to the job that can handle many more. He has now taken $20,000 from me for 'framing a lattice', yet walked off the job and done no work, and says he will do no further work for me. He left me with framing incomplete, and a partially open roof, which leaked during the rains. I have to replace him in the middle of the rainy season, urgently. It's been a disaster. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM.

    Remodel and addition of main house, addition and remodel

    SCC framed a 10,000 sq ft house and 2,000 guest for a Beverly Hills project I was supervising in 2017. Joe's crew was fantastic. It was a complicated framing job and their attention to detail greatly assisted the projects progress. Joe was by to supervise his crew every day, resolving any issues they had. I appreciated they were there every day I had work for them. The entire construction team was very happy with SCC and would use them again on future projects.

    Working with Joe was a pleasure, the communication and problem solving on his part made the project fun and enjoyable. Things come up in construction, and I knew that. But I was so happy to have a contractor who was on top of things. The attention to detail, and the craftsmanship are second to none in my book.

    Working with this company has been a disaster. Joe San Roman missed many issues in both budgeting and in construction, costing me a fair amount of money. When asked to fix mistakes under his purview, his response was often "well guess you better find someone to fix that." He refused to take ownership of any of the mistakes. I highly suggest not working with him and this company unless you have money to burn.
