    Construction house cleanup.

    This company is a scam. he took my money with a signed contract and ghost me. He worked only two days and left the dumpster in my driveway for two weeks. The worst contracture I have ever worked with. He doesn't answer his phone, his wife supposedly is the secretary, isn't much better and reading the above reviews, there seems to be a pattern here. I wished I would have read the reviews before hiring this . Warning to all ... walk away from this company and hire someone else.!!!!

    Bought a house from them, that they renovated.

    We bought a house from this guy in 2010, and found out that he and his company used a lot of cheap material for the house. You would not know when you first walk into the house. The first week of moving into the house we started seeing issues. Had to call them out twice after buying the house and to get them to fix two issues with the the bathroom. And he complained about having his guys come back to fix it. And ever since little by little things started to come apart. Also they left a lot of debris in the backyard that they covered with first and grass , but underneath had nails and glass. We had a full cabinet come off the wall in the kitchen, that almost landed on my son. Living in the house we are seeing a lot of short cuts that they took, and now we are stuck having to pay for it. Do not buy from this owner or company. Only did 1 star because I had too. But if I had a choice . It would be a negative one.

    Surprised that Charles Duran still has a contractors license. He takes his down payment money to buy drugs and most times does not return to complete the job. The "carpenters" hired are from the drug rehab facility where he has resided in the past. Also surprised that he has not been arrested for tax evasion since he deducts taxes from his "employees" but keeps the money. FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR IF YOU DO NOT WANT HEADACHES!!

    Multi-Room Remodel project

    The job was to renovate a large double garage into two separate rooms. Once a down payment was provided the contractor was slow to show up, often a no-show for days on end. The workmanship (when they did show up) was terrible because no real carpenters were ever onsite, just unsupervised day laborers. After three months of constant delays, expensive charges and very bad workmanship, contractor was fired. In addition, several serious mistakes had to be corrected by a competent contractor, who finished the job.

    This company is HORRIBLE. Owner/Contractor takes money and walks out on the job. He had a 20K job that he was given over 2 months to complete, after pushing back the final date numerous times.

    Was not completed. Left tools behind. Asked for advances on payment schedule to pay his ‘workers’ who worked one handed, the other glued to their phone.

    Would not recommend to ANYONE.

    He was given an additional 4 weeks and still did not complete the job.
    He never showed up at the time he would provide me, if at all.
    He consistently promised to ensure other work that he and I talked about (ex. Removing a soffit in a bathroom) would be completed on a specific day and it wasn't.
    He is an extremely poor communicator, very often not answering questions or addressing concerns.
    He is consistently untruthful. For example, he blamed a lot of the delay on the permit office, but I found out that once application and payment is made, very often the inspector comes the following day.
    I notified Charles last night that his services are no longer required and asked for a refund of half the money paid since I believe this to be a breach of contract. In addition, I have retained someone else in the hopes of getting the room competed by Friday.
