Operated without a license, no bond, asked for 30 % down for deck project, supposed to get cedar wood and two weeks later after no contact, and promises to come he arrives with pressure treated wood and only half of the order discussed (probably 5% of the deposit) Then he came back later that day and argued with me and I'm sure he was intoxicated or drunk. We tried to call him and he avoided our calls. He came one more time and came into the house to use the phone and my wife was there alone. Very intimidated. Then he disappeared and changed his phone number. we ended up losing the deposit

I am elderly and forgot that I paid this contractor $20,000. over the actual cost of the project. He NEVER ONCE mentioned my mistake to me! Besides the overpayment, he illegally wired a stove vent and tried to cover it up by boarding up the inside of the cabinet. He is NOT a licensed electrician as claimed! I had to hire a licensed electrician to redo it. He informed me it was not only illegal but a dangerous.
When penetrating the roof for the vent, he failed to cover the hole and rain poured in onto the newly installed cabinets, creating damage. When he did fix the roof, it was illegal and still leaked. I had to incur another expense to have it fixed by a roofer. This man has an ugly temper and in a rage when confronted on the overpayment, he got into my face and screamed at me. Said he didn't have the money and would repay me in payments. I haven't heard a word from him since after repeated requests. This man is not a qualified contractor. He installs cabinets but the rest is suspect. I would not recommend this company for anything. Integrity is honesty. He is lacking in both.
