    If I could give Jeff / Sapphire Pools below one star I would. He made a lot of promises he never kept, to include contract items. We made all scheduled payments in which he was quick to take but he wasn't paying his subs and now we have a lien on our house. We have been trying to contact him for some time now but he has crawled under a rock and steering good and clear. I wouldn't pay this guy to change out my garden hose, stay well clear. Hopefully his license will be gone soon enough where he can't take advantage of people anymore.

    Avoid this builder, we have paid every draw and unfortunetly one draw ahead of what we should have. We only have half the equipement for the pool, Jeff Kilfoyle, will not return phone calls, in over 2 months. We have received leins from sub-contractors on the house

    After doing extensive research on area pool builders for many months our family chose to have Sapphire Pools build our dream pool. We specifically wanted a particular pool finish that was relatively new to the market and found out by chance that Jeff had built that finish. Pleasantly, Jeff took the time to take us to pools he had just finished including one similar to the finish we wanted. We were very impressed by the pools we saw and each one truly looked amazing.

    Jeff met with us and helped to create a masterpiece from our vision. He was present throughout the entire process which was very reassuring. His attention to detail was extraordinary and all work throughout the building process was carefully planned and executed. One of the most important aspects of the process was that Jeff took the time to completely explain each step so we knew what to expect. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need but knew what to suggest to create our desired look. He also worked within our budget and was helpful in selecting all our materials.

    We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff and Sapphire Pools. Everyone that sees our pool cannot believe their eyes at how beautiful it turned out. We recently had a luau by the pool and the comments from our friends and neighbors were that they had stepped into a tropical oasis! Our pool is a free form with spa, travertine, a bead/glass finish, stacked stone with a weeping wall and deck jets and heated with solar. At Jeff’s suggestion we added color landscape lighting around the pool to compliment our pallet of changing colors from our pool light. Tropical foliage and planters compliment the shape of the pool and help to create a total tropical atmosphere.

    Needless to say we are extremely satisfied with our pool and are very impressed with Jeff‘s great follow-up in case we have had any questions!! We highly recommend Sapphire Pools and working with Jeff Kilfoyle. After viewing a pool Jeff has built, there will be no comparison in the quality and workmanship of any other pool. You will absolutely being getting the best!!

    We feel very fortunate that our General Contractor Harbor Hills Development Ltd selected Jeff kilfoyle/Sapphire pools to build our pool, deck, and cage. We had asked for a freeform, peanut shape. Jeff used a imaging computer program to show us how the design we chose would look from all angles and also how a diierent design that matched the configuration of our house would look. He was absolutely correct with the design he chose for our house. We showed the two different designs to several people and everyone agreed that the one Jeff proposed looked the best.

    He sized and placed the pool perfectly in the available space and added coping, tiles, falls and decos as we requested. He is a hands-on contractor, very meticulos and conscientious about his work. His training and follow-up were excellent.

    We, and all of our guests love the outcome. We cannot say enough about his work ethic and feel he is the best pool contractor in this area.

    Initially everything was OK with Jeff. He's not the easiest person to deal with - our contractor has some issues with Jeff and unnecessary delays. But we got the job done and everything was OK. We installed 2 pieces of equipment - a pump and a chlorinator that ended up being too big for our system. Jeff came out and put in smaller parts, and at our request, took the larger parts with him to sell. We paid about $2500 for both parts. Last time we saw him, around April 2012, he said he had sold the pump for $175 and would mail us a check. That was the last we heard from him. He now won't answer emails, or return our repeated phone calls and texts. I've since learned that he owes other people money as well. If I could give him negative stars I would. I would advise anyone to stay away.

    Before deciding to build a pool, we had heard plenty of nightmare stories from friends who went with other pool contractors. We were delighted ours turned out so well. Jeff was great to work with and took care of every detail for us…start to finish, and even afterwards…ensuring we had a quality product on time.
