By Verified ClientJanuary 3, 2018Other Additions projectResponse from Saviors Custom Carpentry, Inc July 29, 2020This is David of Saviors Custom Carpentry; Mr. & Mrs. Gilchrist were very accommodating throughout the process, when they were available. We came into a project that was submitted for permits & approvals prior to us by another Contractor. Who From the homeowners perspective was very unprofessional "As stated we also were", didn't complete the approval & permit process, not to mention walked away from the job. Also prior to had another Contractor who was a friend and also unprofessional "As stated we also were", raise his home, installed his HVAC system in reverse "whatever was supposed to go outside, was installed inside", & walked off the job who he had to eventually seek legal ramifications to resolve the matter. Mr. Gilchrist who I feel allowed us to complete all the thinking work & had another Contractor friend come in and finish the none thinking work. He's had a bad taste in his mouth regarding Contractors, which forces him to look at all of us the same. One bad apple doesn't constitute a whole barrel of bad apples. Sorry for any inconvenience we may if caused you...

Dave Wilborn from saviors custom carpentry signed a contract with us at the end of July to enclose a porch on my deck, got half down at signing up to date he framed the room and put on the roof which flooded my new bathroom and new hall and basement four times Dave does not answer phone calls or text he has missed 37 work days since Oct. 10th and has put in a total of 53 1/4 hours after Dave getting over 6,000.00 i had to hire another contractor Dave cancelled his insurance in Sept. He failed inspection two times do not recommend any work being done by him be careful.
