I have used Saylor and Sons excavating for multiple projects on my 8 acre property. I have found them responsible , responsive to my needs, utterly competent as well.all permits were complete, all safety protocols were taken, and the jobs were completed to my satisfaction! Twice they were under budget! I have been in the construction business myself for many years and these are the only excavators I would ever use! I highly recommend them to anybody!

Cory and Steve Sayler are horrible people. And dangerous. I hired them to dig a trench to my new well. They began digging before locating underground utilities, which is illegal under Colorado law. They sent their teenage son to remove snow and tried to charge me $800 to clear a 70 yard drive. The boy blocked our driveway while doing the work, causing me to be trapped on my property...I missed an important client meetings b/c I couldn’t leave my home. ( I have my own snow removal equipment and never contracted for this service).
Their workers damaged our property, downing saplings and snapping off tree branches. They left large piles of debris scattered around our property. They spilled oil and fuel near my wellhead
We had to hire another contractor to clean up their mess
After they presented an inflated bill they left their heavy equipment on our property and said they would only remove it once we paid. After I informed them that I had the right to have their equipment towed away they falsely told the Jeffco Sherriff’s office that I was trying to steal their equipment. Then they hauled it away
I resolved the issue by cutting their bill in half
Do not ever do business with these crooks

Steve was great to work with. We've had two big projects and they did a fantastic job. It included a lot of rock, big and small, which they placed around new buildings and it looks great! Would highly recommend them!
