I originally thought Chris was really on top of his game and read good reviews, so after he came out and bid the re-pipe job on my house I agreed to work with him on T&M basis, and quit looking for a plumber...
Awhile later when ready for plumbing, several times said he would get me firmly on the schedule, but after never hearing back found he would not return calls, texts, or emails.... he ditched me.
What does it matter how good someone is technically or in any way, if they ditch you out of the blue?
Glad he never got started... then bailed, as happened to a guy I read of on another site.

After contacting L&I per my Lawyers advise it turns out Chris Schmidts GENERAL CONTRACTORS LICENSE IS SUSPENDED. BEWARE, If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional and bites off way more than he can chew. Never once met a deadline even after multiple extensions. Very sloppy. Never cleaned up after himself leaving me or my guys to do the cleanup. Expect to pay Cash only because his bootleg credit card reader and privileges are suspended leaving $8,000 of project money unusable pending investigation. Didn’t finish the job he started and walked away with THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of unfinished work. He may have a license but his time management and budgeting skills are next to zero. Would not recommend Chris Schmidt for anything especially if you have deadlines to meet.
