I went to the Charlotte Boat show in February 2024 for the sole purpose to meet with Darren Schmolke and discuss a dock "rebuild". We had never met. Within 10 minutes I knew he was the right guy for me. We discussed renovating my old dock, but he showed me what a new dock could be. The next week he came to my house - and then I went to his to see his dock. My big concern was timing and having a dock ready for the summer He committed to having my boat on the lift by June 1, 2024. I thought "uh huh'.... Well - May 31 my boat was on the lift! While the dock wasn't complete yet - it was soon thereafter.
I cannot put into words how awesome the new dock is. Everything he committed to - and more. We made a few mods along the way - he did everything with a smile - and clever solutions to make the dock even better. Darren answers the phone every time I call - and has been incredibly responsive - above and beyond. I cannot explain enough how easy he was to work with, the quality of the work and what a great experience this was. There's nothing worse than a difficult builder / contractor. This was pleasant and easy. Thank you, Darren and Team!! A+++
