Hired SCL Enterprises to build our custom home. Huge mistake. One year after the project was supposed to have been completed we were still months away from being finished. Shaun ignored our budget and wasted an obscene amount of money doing what he wanted instead of what we wanted. Shaun literally installed things that we explicitly told him not to do. It is clear now that Shaun was never going to stay within the budget he presented to win our confidence. He promised to bill us each month so we could see exactly what was being spent, then did not provide us with any numbers for 5 months at a time. When we complained about how far behind and how far over budget he was, Shaun stopped coming to the house. He left one worker to do things at a painfully slow pace. Finally fired Shaun and used other contractors to fix his mistakes and finish things up. Unfortunately, it is simply cost prohibitive now to undue what Shaun did and build what we really wanted. I seriously regret ever hiring this man. Spent an obscene amount of money for a house I don’t even like. Terrible experience.
