This is Scott Sarau, I never did a basement for an Akash P. Every basement I do goes thru inspections and I'd love to see your failed sticker.Its extremely rare that I would fail an inspection but I do miss something once in awhile which gets fixed immediately.I run a one year warranty on all my work and it's extremely rare to ever get called back for anything.I take alot of pride in my work, quality and prices and will put my work up against anyones.I use all high quality material so this review without doubt is fake along with someone by the name Hong.I NEVER worked for anyone with that name nor do I do kitchens so someone needs to verify these reviews ahead of posting them.My guess is some past employee that couldn't produce.So if you really had work done by me, please post pics of the supposed shoddy work or cheap materials.Rough around the edges I can kind of agree with.But I go out of my way for my customers and work 7 days a week.I always give something free to each of my customers be it extra outlets or lights to tile work on a backslash, I give more then any contractor in business.And I work with people on price so everybody can afford to get work done.I proudly post every job I complete on Facebook @ Sarau Home Improvements.Take a look for yourselves before believing fake reviews

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, WORKMANSHIP IS VERY POOR, AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYBODY AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO IS RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, AND BELIEVES IN HIS QUALITY OF WORK. HE LIKES TO USE SHADY EXCUSES AND USES PEOPLE'S TRUST TO GET PAID. ULTIMATELY, WE ARE THE ONES TO SUFFER AND BEAR ADDITIONAL COST TO FIX ALL OF THE MESS THAT HE HAS CREATED FOR OUR BASEMENT PROJECT. HE DOES NOT KNOW HIS CODE AS PER MANDATED BY THE TOWNSHIP AND WILL CUT CORNERS JUST TO GET PAID. AGAIN WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR AT ALL TO ANYBODY. WE HAVE DEALT WITH CONTRACTORS FOR OTHER WORK, BUT THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD AND WE HAVE LEARNED OUR LESSON.

The guy who referred Scott to me has been apologizing ever since. Rough around the edges is the least I can say for Scott. I’ve had many contractors done several work for me. Scott is by far the worst. Do yourself a HUGE favor and pay a little more to get a quality contractor with a piece mind. Wouldn’t recommend to my enemy!

His work is solid. He built a 20 by 20 composite deck for us at our last house at a rock bottom price. We paid material and he charged labor was completely transparent. He’s a bit rough around the edges but he’s means well and keeps his word. We were happy once it was finished. The workmanship was a 5 out of 5; the customer service was a 4 due to slightly behind schedule and his roughness

Scott is a very shady contractor. I've seen his work from friend and very sloppy. Also over charges after work is done..don't use this rip off guy!
