BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The do not follow code, and do NOT close their permits!!!! My mom and my whole street did work with this company, and now my mom is trying to sell her hour and the fence is not to code and the permits for it were not closed! After my mom dealing with that company for so may hours and the OWNER of the company being extremely rude, i got on the phone to talk to him. The owner sent over a technician to knock on my moms door and to tell her that he won't do the work unless she calls the owner back. I got on the phone with her and we called the owner back and he said "you still have to pay for the service, but if you don't take off our yelp reviews that man outside is going to take a hike". He used profanity, was extremely sarcastic, and threatened my mom. When i asked him to not use profanity and to just be professional, he said "oh come on its just an exclamation. fine, ill use a different word, is that better?" Very sarcastically. I felt like i was speaking to a teenager!! AND HES THE OWNER! Honestly one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever heard stories about. I would NOT waste my time here. They will not fix the problem, hung up on my mom and were super unprofessional. They also put you on a conference call with other people on the line who talk over you and laugh while you tell them your issues. They blamed the computers for losing the documentation for closing the permit, when the city itself says they never had it in the first place. At the end of the call, i told him that he should help us and stop with his threats because all of our neighbors also did work with him, and two of them are in the process of selling their homes as well and will have the same problem; if he is worried about my one yelp review wait until the neighbors have to deal with this same problem!!! His response to me was "we don't work for Miramar any longer". Seems like their company choses to do jobs incorrectly, and when you call them out on it, say they don't work in that part of town anymore and won't correct it. After that, he told me to "drop a bomb on us (the company) if i felt like it". I mean, is this guy 13 years old, or a grown man? I'm still trying to decide if this is real life. What an immature, unprofessional company. Sending out a tech to my moms door to say "i'll take him away if you don't delete your yelp review" I even told him i would remove it when the job was fixed, and he said he wouldn't fix it unless it was removed. Come on.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I will be contacting angies list, BBB, and the local news outlets. I saw some comments from their company back in 2015 about fraud, and saw their public announcement explaining how it was a company with a 'similar name' .... I'm starting to think thats a lie.
If anyone needs a recommendation for a REAL screen company that is affordable, please do your research or contact me, but do NOT go with this company! They will do an incorrect job, and getting them to fix it will cost a LOT of money and a LOT of war!!!

Permits
- Building permit records show that Screen Builders has worked on 17674 permitted projects.
They came out and rescreened the porch and replaced a few pieces screen channel and 2 doors. They broke off several sprinkler risers and just propped the risers up against the screen. This indicates they knew they damaged them but just didn't care. When we contacted the owner he just said the contract says they aren't responsible for damage caused during install and that was it. I get that some stuff will happen but to break them, not tell us and and then just refer to some lazy get out of jail free card clause is some poor customer service. The risers were over a foot from the screen.
Also they were supposed to replace the door frames as well as the two doors per the estimate. They only replaced the doors themselves.
Overall would not recommend them as they only do the absolute minimum and don't really care about customer satisfaction. The risers are easy to fix but they just don't give a crap and they doors were not done as they stated in the estimate. Owner offered $35 off for the risers. What a joke.
