    remodeling project

    SDG Design & Construction was professional, courteous, responsive, and did excellent work. We needed a simple powder room built, as well as converting an existing powder room into a full bathroom by adding a new shower. Both jobs were completed beautifully. The two contractors who worked in our home were more than thorough in their work and work ethic, arriving on time and working a full day, every day. Any problems that arose during the job were thought through and discussed with us prior to making decisions on how to resolve them. We were able to make minor adjustments to our job as needed or desired. And to top it off- they took amazing care never to let our dog out of the house! We highly recommend SDG for and job, big or small.

    Working with SDG Design has been a dream. They turned an ugly laundry/powder room into a beautiful handicapped accessible bathroom for my parents. Since our home is older, we ran into several problems. The owner, Stephen, was always direct and straight forward about the issues and on the best way to solve the problem. He always had our budget in mind and wanted the best, most economical solution.

    SDG's work was so excellent, that we also hired them to convert our garage into an in-law suite for my parents. Stephen is full of creative, innovative ideas. Not only is his work superb, he is a man of integrity, humor, and he is an excellent communicator.

    There were times during the construction that he was dealing with various township/permit issues. I never knew about the issues until they were resolved. Stephen protected me from not having to take on any further stress.

    Beyond the projects, Stephen and all of his employees are deeply caring people. There was one time in particular, that my mother was unable to walk to the car due to her health issues. Stephen bent down, wrapped my mom's arm around his neck and escorted her to the car; he practically carried her to the passenger seat of my car. He is always clearing a nice, clean path for her to walk through. He is kind to her and very understanding of her dementia. He has gone above and beyond time and time again. His courtesy and kindness is endless.
