Sea Tech did sea wall sealing and built/replaced a dock with new pilings. Originally the contact at Sea Tech was Norma Jean Jalovec, who was with them for many years. Norma Jean left the company and we were left with no specific person to contact at Sea Tech. Sea Tech was either very busy or lacked some interoffice communication problems. After our initial payment, at the signing of the contract, we were in limbo for three to four months. Many phone calls later, they did arrive and did the work in a timely period thereafter. Along with my work, they did raise the sea wall of my neighbor at the same time and built them a new dock. Other than the time period between the contract signing and the work beginning, we were pleased with the actual work.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Sea Tech Construction has worked on 2023 permitted projects.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. I have been working with Sea Tech for over ten months now and still do not have a permit. At first, they told me it would take four months to get a permit so I gave them the time to obtain the permit. After four months, I contacted them to get an update and they would not return my calls and I came to find out nothing had been done. This was the start to my ten month nightmare. To date, I still have no permit; Sea Tech will not return my phone calls or emails so I’m looking for another contractor. At this point, I just need a new dock. I suppose I will not get my thousand dollars back unless I sue them, but that will come after I get a new contractor. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR IF YOU WANT YOUR CONTRACT COMPLETED. The worst thing, when calling new contractors, they immediately know who my current contractor is. I am not the only one with this problem. This company is just a rip-off DO NOT USE.
