Most expensive 45’ service call in my 20 -odd years in OBX. And our problem did not get fixed. We paid $300 to learn that we needed to call in another professional. I recommend you Ask about costs before you set up service. Nice person. Seemed very knowledgeable. He came out the same day I called so I expected to pay a premium. Just did not expect it to be $300 for 45’ only to learn that we must call an electrician. Guess i learned something!

He was recommended by the first plumber I contacted as more specialized in well hook ups. He showed up in a timely manner to troubleshoot the new pump and pipe plumbing to the existing well. After a few hours he stated that my fittings were wrong, sub par glue, and new pump were the problem, we agreed on a price to replace them all. Said he be there Monday morning to install new, showed up following Friday at 2 pm and rushed to complete by dark. Next Monday calling to get paid $500 more than agreed price, repeatedly. Wednesday I returned to town to inspect the work and found only a new pump hooked up to my existing “amateur plumbing “ and a couple new check valves. When asked about agreed price and warranty he became agitated and argumentative, blaming my well for extra hours spent. He is not honest in his verbal agreements, rounds up his hours, and is overly confident on his capabilities when giving estimates. Two of my friends needed plumbers recently and I couldn’t recommend him to them in good faith. No invoice given nor receipt, and wanted check made out to him personally. Good luck to anyone who may come into contact with him.
