    Thief and con artist

Sean caused major water damage to my house by not properly sealing a pipe. He then closed up the wall and denied any involvement with the plumbing, which he claimed he was having "his guy" handle. He will not provide any contact information for "his guy" and refuses to cover the cost of his mistakes. This cost me an additional $2,600 on top of the $4,800 I had to pay him for his terrible work. By the way, his original estimate was $3,900. Typical tactic to get the job, then he jacks up his price once he has your bathroom in pieces.
I also asked him not to smoke in my house and found cigarette butts and marijuana odor when I returned home the first day.
I would NOT recommend for future work.

Will not cover costs for damage he caused.

This contractor does not stand by his work. Upon further investigation he put three nails through a heat pipe in my wall and now refuses to cover the costs of the damage and will not provide me with his insurance information to file a claim to cover the expenses. He will no longer answer phone calls or texts. I have sent him all the documentation as requested by him to his email and provided pictures, video and invoices for the damage he caused to my wall and floor. He will not own up to his own negligence, and refuses to be a professional and cover the costs for the damage he caused.

The other major issue I have is he tried to add additional costs on top of the agreed amount for materials. I did not like the fact that he kept throwing around how much of a "great deal" I was getting with him and that I should be picking up extra costs for caulking and molding. When this should have been factored into his original price. As it was he didn't even do the caulking my painter did which was not part of his scope of work. Luckily for me the painter was great and did it for no extra charge. He tried to pull the typical contractor's lines about how he normally bills his time at way more than he charged me and that he already took a hit on the material price and it was dipping into his fee. Which I fail to see how this was my problem when he provided the estimate costs for material up front. Not my fault you under bid your price and under estimated the bill of material. I also never saw any receipts showing that the price of material was over what he bid out, and how much it was affecting his fee. Which regardless again is not my problem for his incorrect assessment. The "extra" molding only added up to about $20.00 if that and he was trying to guilt me into thinking that he was doing me such a huge favor for just doing the job as promised. He also tried to backtrack and say that his original quote did not include the extra molding and that it was never mentioned. When in reality I sent a picture of what I wanted done showing the molding. When he originally came out he had another worker there Chris who was going to do that piece of the job and we went over several options which included that piece of molding. This fellow was a no show on work day and did not do the job with Sean as originally promised. Again not my fault that the estimate was off because of his miss-communication with his associate. I also had to wait a week before work began on the project because the “no show” guy Chris couldn’t start the job until Saturday when Tuesday was the original day work was supposed to begin. I also provided half the entire cost of the job up front including the total amount for material which was supposed to be bought that Monday and when he showed up Saturday he was empty handed, that delayed production even further. So I waited a week this Chris guy never walked in the door and Sean was empty handed with no material to begin the job as promised on time. And I did end up giving the extra cash for the molding.

I would not recommend him for future work, and be weary of his tactics about the cost of material and fee.
