Guy Hollingsworth owner of Second Nature Landscaping did a huge landscaping job for me. Well over $200,000 dollars worth of work.
He talked me in to doing a steel frame deck.
He had never done one before, but was confident in his skills to do it right. He did not seek out regular help from the company (Fortress Steel). Fortress is an amazing company and seek to help out their contractors and clients at all stages of construction. Guy Hollingsworth spent many wasted hours making mistakes on both of my steel decks. His crew made multiple mistakes including laying down warped Trex decking boards. Guy did not utilize the Fortress rep that offered help on multiple occasions.
The other mistakes include: ordering wrong trees, very poorly constructed concrete wall, completely messed up the water drainage pit,
Made a complete mess of my gates and fence, where you enter the backyard. Order a very low grade turf, when I asked for the top of the line grade in materials. He hired extra workers on a hourly wage, when his crew I agree on wasted countless hours trying to figure out how to construct the steel deck…only to make multiple mistakes and the redo many aspects of the project. I could keep mentioning other details, but it’s not worth it to keep listing everything.
I have say he and his crew do good patio stone & boulder placement. He loves to do tons of grading and adding dirt. Guy Hollingsworth and his crew were rude, disrespectful and dismissive to not just me, but to all the other contractors that came to remodel my new home. Every single contractor/ tradesman
(at least 5), made unsolicited comments to me about how rude and lazy his crew was on my project. I have done many construction projects on over 5 homes… I have never ever had such a horrible experience with any tradesman or contractor. I have never had problems with any construction work ever until working with Guy Hollingsworth.
