Great pool builder. VERY good designing, and amazing stone work! I highly recommend Anthony for a high end pool or renovation.

Our limestone decking started to stain, a couple days after being installed. I reached out to Set n Stone/Hudsy Custom Pool Designs to let Anthony know. When he arrived to the house he said he didn’t know why it was doing that. After a couple weeks and no communication regarding how to resolve the staining I began reaching out to professionals.
I was able to have the owner of the Tile & Paver company come here. They reached out to Anthony from Set n Stone/Hudsy Custom Pool Designs and requested he meet them at our house. This was the only time Anthony has been here to try and come up with a solution regarding the staining. He did have a paver cleaning company come out once to try and clean the stain.
The owner of the Tile & Paver company stated that the pavers are ruined. They all need to be replaced. They tried numerous solutions to clean the pavers with no luck.
It’s been 3 months and nothing.
Set n Stone/ Hudsy Custom Pool Designs keep stating it’s because of the environment of all our trees, dirt & red sand. Which is not true. The coping of the pool is not staining because it was laid with the proper base. Only the decking is staining which has a different sand base. In the video you will see I have pavers laying all around in the dirt, under trees, directly on the red sand & on concrete for months that have not stained! Which shows it’s not the outside environment. It’s the environment under the pavers. It needs proper drainage and the decking was not laid that way. The coping was.
These are natural stone and need to be sealed. Each day they are getting worse with holes and cracks.
I asked Anthony from Set n Stone/Hudsy Custom Pool Designs 4 times for copies of his insurance his response was “why do you need that”. He refused to share it and still has not to this day. Any reliable contractor would not mind sharing that info.
