    Addition project

    We are having a patio cover put in. Stan is very friendly and got our quote to us pretty quick. His crew is very efficient and did a great job on our project. The job was done ahead of schedule. The only negative is they did not notify us a head of time that they would be out sooner and the crew just showed up unexpectedly. Overall, we would definitely hire them again for a project!!

    I-Beam install garage ceiling/upstairs hall support

    Installed an I-Beam across the entire span of the garage. SH&S Construction did a good job and didn't take short cuts that other contractors might have. Even though it was pricey, it was still very reasonable for the work done. Communication could have been better and I had to take a lot of time of work intermittently to be there because sometimes I didn't know when they would be there and a few times the drywall person didn't show at all. Drywall repair was the weakest link by far. The person doing it was very nice, but the work itself was not very well done. By this point we just wanted it done. I see now after the fact that there are places where texturing wasn't replaced at all (along the drywalled covering of the beam) and we still have some humps where the drywall that was replaced on the garage ceiling isn't level with the rest. Feathering it out would have been the better course.
    Overall the project went well. Just hope that the drywalling person pays better attention and is much more conscientious about their work on the next job. I would recommend SH&S Construction, but not for drywall. Call someone who specializes in it.

    Considered for Exterior Finishing

    Honest and real person. Someone who wants to do real business, who is straight forward, and down to earth. Above and beyond our expectations in matters of handling and planning and so far execution. We have a sensitive situation that not many can handle, well so far SH&S has way more projects for us in the future. Hopefully others get to experience what we are but I am going to make sure to employ every moment I can so might be hard to get an opening. Truly a blessing to have met and to work with.
