These people are very unprofessional and terrible. They never came back to complete the job and they never return your phone calls. We have called numerous times and left messages to no avail.
Please do not hire these people. -

they do not honor their warranty, they skip appointments and seemingly this business now just takes money without doing the job properly

DO NOT HIRE THEM. HIRED THEM TO CLEAN MY CHIMNEY AND THEY DID NOT CLEAN IT. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. AFTER MANY PHONE CALLS THEY SCHEDULED A CHIMNEY CLEANING. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I CALLED CHRIS THE NEXT DAY AND HE STATED HIS CREW CAME TO MY HOME AND I REFUSED TO LET THEM IN. I TOLD CHRIS THIS WAS NOT TRUE AND HE BEGAN YELLING AT ME. GOOGLE SHAMROCK CHIMNEY REVIEWS AND SAVE YOUR SELF THE AGGRAVATION AND MONEY AND DO NOT HIRE.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! When we hired this company on 11/17/19 to install a steel liner, grinding, repointing from top to Bottom, cement crown, install cap; everything went smoothly. We also had a chimney door on order which takes four weeks, as per Jenn (who no longer works there). Come Jan when my husband had to go on the roof to take down the Christmas decorations, he noticed the sloppy and uncompleted job that was done. He took video of everything showing the cap coming off, the cement falling apart, bricks coming loose, repointing only a quarter the way down and cracks in the crown. When he called and spoke to the owner John, he asked us to email him the video link, we did and that’s the LAST we heard from this company! Not only have we not received any call backs, we still don’t have a chimney door that’s been on order since Nov. In total to date between my husband and I, we’ve called 38 times with NO ATTEMPT of a solution. It’s now gotten worse to the point that little parts of cement are falling off the chimney and is now dangerous for our Nieces, puppies and us to go in that area of the yard

No. I paid $3,285 for tuckpointing and flashing replacement. Less than 2 months later the ceiling started to leak below the chimney. I hired a roofer to look at the problem. I was holding the ladder as he went up. When he got to the top of the ladder he said the work was all torn up. Shamrock said there was no way I paid that much. Shamrock said that I must have hired someone to tear it up, or that vandals carrying 30 foot extension ladders tried to steal the lead flashing. took no responsibility, and I had to hire a different company ($1870 more ) to fix it.

Evan and tommy did work for my parents . They were very helpful and at the end of the job everything looked clean.

I had Shamrock come to clean my chimneys, they told me I need a liner in my chimney. Believing them to be honest, we discussed the price (on the invoice there are 3 different prices!) They were also going to skim coat the outside of my chimney. END RESULT - they skim coated one half of the chimney, and jammed a liner down the chimney, dislocating the permanent pipes in the chimney and NEVER CONNECTED ANYTHING!!! FUMES FILLED THE BASEMENT, HAVING TO LEAVE THE BASEMENT DOOR OPEN AT ALL TIMES!! Called our oil company who sent a rep immediately. The technician
told us to get a carbon monoxide monitor immediately as the fumes were spreading to the upper floor. He as well as another Respected chimney company (recommend) came and confirmed they never connected anything,
Thus blocking the chimney fumes from going up the chimney. If you think they care about what they did - NO WAY. Refused to respond to our calls.
They scammed us and would do it again - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and they should not be in business. -

MATT, WAS VERY HONEST AND NICE. HE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT WAS NEEDED, I HAVE TWO CHIMMEYS THAT I REQUESTED TO BE CLEAN. AFTER HIS SURVEY HE TOLD ME THAT I ONLY NEEDED ONE CHIMMEY TO BE CLEAN. THE OTHER CHIMMEY WAS OK.
I MEAN COME ON MAN.. WHAT CHEMMINEY COMPANY WOULD TELL YOU THAT ONLY ONE NEEDED TO BE CLEAN, MOST COMPANY WOULD TELL YOU THAT BOTH NEEDED TO BE CLEAN. I HAD HIM INSTALL A LINER WITH THREE CAPS . THE REASON WAS BECAUSE I TUSTED THE MAN AND NOT ONLY DID HE EXPLAIN TO ME HE ALSO TOOK PICTURES OF THE CHIMMEY'S TO SHOW ME WHY I NEEDED A LINER.
I HIGHLY RECOMMENED THIS COMPANY FOR ALL CHIMMEY WORK.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They engage in VERY SHADY business practices and do ABSOLUTELY LOUSY work. I'm embarrassed to say I got scammed by them to the tuned of $4,500. I don’t want others to suffer the same, especially elderly in Maine and NH who live on fixed incomes and can ill afford to be scammed in the way I was. Their work was lousy and they refused throughout to fix or even acknowledge the painfully obvious issues I raised with them. When I finally threatened to withhold payment until they did what I was asking of them, one of the two-man crew stated, very Tony Soprano-like, something very close to, "You really don't know who you're dealing with. You don't want to mess with these people." "These people"? In the end, the job was done not in the least to my satisfaction. The crew leader, Albin from Stamford, CT, said to text him the following week, and he'd see if they might be able to come out to address some of the issues I had with their work. I texted him four times over the ensuing three weeks and got zero replies. I was originally promised a 20-year warranty on the work. When Albin wrote the revised work order up, he included a 10-year warranty. When I said I was promised 20 years, he simply crossed out the 10 and inserted 20, saying, "There. Are you happy?" Ten years or 20 doesn't matter, as I knew fully well, at that point, that their warranty is absolutely worthless. While setting the job up, I had no problem calling their office. Now that the work is “done,” every time I call, I get voice mail and my calls have never been returned. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND AVOID SHAMROCK C & C AND GETTING SCAMMED BY THEM THE WAY I DID!
