I highly recommend Brac Shannon as a builder. He was very professional and reasonable throughout the whole building process. Everyone with Shannon Homes was very kind and I am very happy with everything.

Purchased a home in Pendergrass, that is new, so many problems from grading, to the waters leaks in the roof and windows , crack in the bath tub, the windows hard to open, doors won’t shut, a nightmare and depressing, the builder won’t respond and the warranty people give a hassle.worst home ever , I won’t never recommend this brack Shannon as your builder with Shannon homes .several people in the neighborhood are complaining about septic tank being messed up and some of the same issues I am having with these homes

We bought a house and have had the worst experience with the entire process, the closing was delayed 3 times . Also there were 3 pages of punch out. Now the grading is horrible with building materials buried in the yard all over the place. The house has had numerous warranty issues, and the builder does not care once you sign the contract. A year into the house we now have windows leaking and cracks in the walls. Horrible experience buying this home , I don’t recommend brack Shannon as a builder for your investment on a home

I contracted with this builder work began as expected. However, it wasn't but 6-7 weeks into the building process that things came to a halt. I was given one excuse after the other of why, usually blaming it on the cabinets being backlogged. Three separate times I was told there will be a 2-week delay and all the while no other work was done on the house or yard.
One of the walls was bowed as they failed to correctly account for the plumbing on the opposite side of the wall and the builder refused to fix it. He kept repeating "It meets code."
The backyard is very steep and I was told they put down a plastic ground cover into the hill to help hold in the junipers and pine straw. However, after the first heavy rain, the whole thing slid downhill onto my patio.
Finally, I had to threaten legal action before they would return my money once they broke the contract 4 months behind schedule and nothing was done since the 8th week on the house.

We purchased a home built by Shannon Homes. We paid over 249k. There are so many nails coming through the walls and the ceiling. All the trim is coming off the walls. The ceramic tiles in the bathroom are cracking the floor, the shower and the walls around the tub. The doors are crooked and either won’t stay open or won’t stay closed. The lights in the master keep flickering every time you turn them on. We have 2 different latches on the windows that are hard to open or close. Half of our side yard slid down a hill when it rained and collapsed into the woods. The grading in the back yard is terrible. We have buried construction supplies, gravel, concrete, wire grating, glass, trash. The grading is so bad it washed from the neighbors house into our yard and looks like a river. The septic pump already went out and had to be replaced as well as the HVAC. We tried to get screens for our windows and was told by the company that they didn’t install them, when in fact they did. They said they seeded our back yard but all we have is dirt, trash, and a million rocks but sadly no a single blade of grass. All the issue if you check you ridiculous manual for repairs either says it’s “not an issue” or “ caulk it”. So where in this manual does it say the builder is responsible... no where I can find. Not to mention you cannot contact the builder because there is no number listed just a P.O Box. I would never recommend buying a home built by Shannon homes, not even to my worst enemy. Save yourself money, time, and frustration and pick another builder.
