Shaw roofing did a complete tear-off my roof including the base layer of original wood shaker shingles from 1910! Rafters were reinforced and brought up to code. OSB base layer, shingles and vent system were installed professionally. Work crew was courteous and professional from the demolition phase throughout the install phase. Shaw roofing was not the cheapest quote I received but they came highly rated by word of mouth. I was so impressed with the quality of their work that I used them to correct roof problems on a new addition roof installed by another roofer several years later.
