Shaws Plumbing

He gave a quote of 500.00 to correct all the plumbing from prev contractor, re-route exposed water lines that were running up the back side of m.h. install sewage trap, pipe up thru roof to vent, insulate lines, run heat tape to cover all lines. He wrapped part of them and no heat tape was installed before the wrap, washer hook-up not installed, no trap, vent pipe never made it thru the roof. He constantly is asking for money to cover materials, the worst thing about it is I already had materials, except for the heat tape. We are now up to 600.00 that he received. After asking for 120.00 yesterday for heat tape, he was a no-show for early this morning and don"t think he's coming back.This is a shame, he is the third person to attempt to do over and get it right. Cannot find a honest contractor, I got scammed again. The first small job that Shaws plumbing did for me should of given the red flag. He quoted 300.00,to adjust 4 interior doors that would not close,replace bath sink faucet that I purchased,replace entire commode fixture in tank,instead of replacing it,he bought a 2.00 part and used old parts that were rusted. Roof leaked, he said I will replace some shingles there instead he used a calking gun where the holes were. The day before he quoted calking is a temporary fix,I will replace the shingles,that did not happen. He was over paid for this job,he jumped the price up from 300.00-350.00 to cover the replacement of shingles that I never got. He demands 1/2 down to start to cover materials in which he only had to buy the tank part that I never got. He takes way too many short cuts to have extra money in his pocket. People like me are just tired of being taken advantage of. You cannot trust anyone. That's sad.

Update: Due to recent inspections of his work and did not know how to go about that just to protect others. It was found that when he wrapped part of the water lines that coax cable was discovered, a pretence of what was to be electrial heat tape. Also, found I supplied him with heavier foam wraps and he took mine that cost more and installed his cheap ones. What a scammer !!
