Hakeem with Sheek Concrete is amazing. He came in and replaced all of my sidewalk, a large slab of my driveway, sealed all the joints in my driveway, added a seeping tile drain and sealed the new cement. Amazing workmanship. Hakeem and his crew carefully cut my sod away from the sidewalks when they prepared my new walks. They didn’t take any shortcuts and didn’t try to take advantage of me because I was a female. Very honest. Took photos to show me the work during the steps and repaired my lawn better then when I found it. I received several other bids and they were much more and didn’t include half the materials. Hakeem uses rebar in his cement and made an awesome finish on the surface. He noticed some of the reasons why my walks were sinking and fixed it. Has a very good eye at the sites. Very professional, on time, reliable and first class. Stands behind his work and is confident in his workmanship that he offers a 1 year warranty on his jobs. Nobody else does that.

If you are looking for quality concrete work, I recommend NOT working with Sheek Concrete. My experience started out great thinking I had found the right contractor with the fair price to have my driveway replaced and take on other projects as I remodeled my house. Little did I know that I had signed up for an endless amount of troubles and headaches. My driveway was replaced but ended up fracturing in two different parts in less than 6 months. Prior to having my driveway replaced, Sheek Concrete did state numerous times that warranty will be provided on all work done. However, when the concrete fractured, Sheek Concrete refused to stand behind the work. In other words, Sheek Concrete lied about providing a warranty at all. And Yes, Sheek Concrete provided many photos of quality concrete work prior to being hired to show the quality of work they are capable of providing. But unfortunately, the work I paid for turned out to be worthless and unprofessional.
In addition to the fractures, the quality of the concrete and the broom finish is very poor with lots of raised rough spots in the middle of the driveway. Not only does the concrete work look horrible, there is also a puddle in the middle of the driveway as well where water always pools. Sheek Concrete also decided to take out and remove dirt from both sides of the driveway for unknown reasons leaving the entire depth of the concrete and the under material exposed, which costed me a great amount of money to hire a landscaper and have both sides of the driveway built back up. While on the job site, the owner of Sheek Concrete and one of his coworkers ended up getting into a full fist fight for some reason and the coworker ended up slamming the garage door shut and breaking the spring mechanism. This was an additional cost out of my pocket to repair the garage door. When asked, Sheek Concrete refused to cooperate nor cover the cost of the garage door repair and the additional landscape work that needed to be done.
All throughout my experience and troubles with Sheek Concrete I photographed the poor quality of the work done and recorded all the paperwork from the additional costs caused by this company and I only wish there were a way to upload everything on to this platform to show proof and evidence for my statement. Once again I state, I highly recommend NOT working with Sheek Concrete on any concrete or construction project as it is a very untrustworthy company. What I do recommend is taking the time to do a bit more research and reading reviews to find a trustworthy company that provides quality work.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
