Unprofessional company run by an unprofessional owner who over-promises and underdelivers. The company was contracted to perform approximately $6,000 worth of work. The owner was very communicative for approximately 2 weeks and then his workers stopped showing up for the job. He would make excuse after excuse as to why he was not able to show up and left the work unfinished. Some of the things that were done outside the house also have failed within the last three months resulting in a flooding of the exterior of my home. They disappeared mid job. I could not get in contact with anyone from the company for 1-2 months. The company and all its workers are completely clueless and don't care about the client. Poor job, poor communication, poor workmanship and most of all completely untrustworthy. I ended up hiring someone else to finish the subpar work that was completed by SIC Homes, their workers and the owner Joseph Celedon Serrato (A.K.A. Joe Serrato). If I could I would rate SIC homes and the owner Joe a (-10 stars). If you ever hear of this company or contract them for anything, get a refund and run the other way.

I told my sister about this guy because his family member lives down the street from me and is my handyman. Joe Saratto is a scammer. Takes people money and runs off. He took over $49,000 from my elderly aunt and now will not respond. She doesn’t hear from him in weeks then he’ll pop up and do 1 day work and vanishes for another month. He promises you everything you asked for, takes your money and disappear like Casper the friendly ghost. He said the job will take 6-8 weeks and it’s been over 6 months. SMH. Not even halfway finish. My family Gm has to go to other family and friends houses to bath & cook. I consider this as ELDER ABUSE. At this time it’s nothing else to do but take him to court that will cost more money.
