Ethan Sides along with his crew at Sidescapes are the best Sonoma has to offer! Sidescapes has done the landscaping for my 4 out 4 of my most recent listings. As a Realtor, it is very important to me to refer quality contractors who deliver excellent results! When I refer a landscaper to work with one of my clients, it is a direct reflection of my standard of service and I know that I can always count on Ethan to go above and beyond, always exceeding the expectations of my clients and improving the curb appeal of my listings. Ethan is very talented and knowledgeable and always leaves my clients wanting more and saying..Thank You! It's a rare, to find a contractor who is more concerned about his lasting impression than his bottom line! Ethan Sides of Sidescapes will never cut corners and you will always want to call the Sidescapes crew back to do more! A rare find! -Shanis Nelson, Wine Country Group Realtors

Sidescapes has been maintaining our landscaping for 13 years. Ethan and his assistant, Angel, are completely reliable, trustworthy, and know just about everything about landscaping. They also take care of our irrigation system. Our friends often comment on how beautifully our landscaping looks. I can't remember them every missing a scheduled work day. I'm very hands off regarding landscaping, so I depend completely on them. They always do a terrific job.
I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful looking property.

I would not recommend this company for any work. The owner is a joke he told me one price and started adding and tacking on more charges after he started the job. I gave him 25% of the price and would give him the rest after the job was done. I was told that the job would take two weeks, about 3 days into the job he asked me for more money because he did not have money to pay his workers I felt bad and gave him a little more. 2 days later I had not seen Ethan at the job and was trying to call him to find out were he was at with picking up some plant I had ordered. I asked one of his workers if Ethan would be out at the job today, they said they had not seen him either. After a couple hours the guys said that they were leaving, I asked them why they told me that Ethan had not paid them for over a month. I'm not too nosie but I did give him a good amount of cash so I wanted to know what was going on I asked one of the workers what's been happening i was told in broken english that he party's too much and it's been going on for too long, they told me sorry and left. It took me a about another 2 weeks to get in touch with Ethan, he told me that if I wanted him to finish the job he would need more money. That's were I lost my cool and told him that if he does not bring back the $5200 dollars that I gave him that my lawyer would be serving him some papers. Now anybody that is reading this thinks that I'm just being a pain in the butt homeowner you will need to understand that I gave him $5200 dollars and all that was done is they removed 6 hedge bushes that were 3 feet tall and cleaned up some leaves before they started to break ground on the project. So to finish this long story I got my money back from him and hired the guys he had working for him to do the job they did great.
I would not use or recommend Sidescapes to anyone owner beware.

We definitely would recommend Sidescapes. They just finished taking out the grass in our backyard and replanting. It looks beautiful with new drips, bark, and plants plus a gorgeous redwood fence. We live on a golf course so it was especially important for us to have it look lovely from the course.
He told us how many days it would take to do the job and it was finished as scheduled. We love looking our our windows at the finished landscape.
