Robert Silarski was hired by me to design a single-family house in Nyack. He failed to submit plans after more that 1 year, despite recurrent requests. The partial plans I was able to obtain contained problems with engineering, structure, outdated methods and materials and prohibitive cost. I was approached by a former client of his who shared a similar experience and warned me of possible collusion with the lowest bidder.
After spending $80k, I was unable to obtain workable, safe and cost-effective plans in a timely fashion.
I had to hire a new architect and pay again.
While he may be an adequate (yet expensive) remodeling architect, he cannot deliver a full house, and his integrity is in question.
