In June 2015, I paid a 52.94% down payment of $8500 total with the promise of the job being complete by 4th of July 2015 and signed the contract that the project would take two weeks to complete once construction began. The project did not start until after 4th of July 2015 around 20th of July 2015. A month later the contractor asked for an additional $1,000 to complete the project by Labor Day. He missed that suspense date. After failed County inspection, excuses due to weather and family issues, the contractor having to find a regular full-time job, where he promised to work on the weekends, 9 months after construction began I have to fire the contractor and take him to court for breach of contract. The job was never completed and won't pass inspection. The contractor doesn't have a license in the state of Maryland. The contractor asked me to find an inspector to pass the project, keep the remaining 35.3 % of the balance to pay the inspector, and he walk away. As a professional contractor, he was unable to find an inspector to pass the project for 6 months. How would I be able to find a reputable inspector to pass his workmanship? We went to court and the Judge found this contractor in Breach of Contract and awarded me a Judgement for the return of all my money.
Be careful when hiring this company.

Update: The Charles County District Court has placed Wilds Home Improvements on notice they are not going to allow him to prey on Maryland State citizens.
They awarded me a judgement for the return of all my money.
Mr. Wilds was placed on the STET Docket for Selling Home Improvements without a License and acting like a Contractor.
He is currently due in Charles County Court because he's driving on a suspended license and the company truck is un-registered.
