    This is the 3rd home Silva And Associates has remodeled for us. They have done a great job and we have recommended them to our friends and family members. Not only do they stick to the budget but they are very helpful id advising us of the best way to resolve issues that arise when you open up walls and find unforeseen issues as is sometimes the case when remodeling older homes... Thank you Thank you Thank you Paulo Silva!!!

    Working with Paul Silva was not a pleasant experience - frustrating and sloppy are good words to describe it.

    Punctuality is not his strong suit. Neither is scheduling or attention to detail. Work is not done very well and you have to micromanage if you want something done. He does not manage his employee's work since he rarely shows up to the site while the work is going on. Instead he will send his workers to the job site and if you're not there to make sure the work is done the way you want, it will often be done incorrectly. Sloppy. He often doesn't respond to calls or texts. Projects ALWAYS drag on way longer than originally discussed. He will make it seem like it's your fault.

    He's a nice guy though and will "yes" a person until they are happy for that moment. Good luck if you decide to work with him.

    I am very sorry you had to write this but as you may recall I met with Luis numerous times on this project and he kept emphasizing how he wanted to do the job as cheaply as possible. "Lipstick on a pig" was the phrase he used. Since on the first job we did at your other house you hired someone who almost knocked your house down and we had to come in and re-support your first floor and basement because of load bearing walls that were removed. We had given you a price on that project and you felt it was too high until you ended up with a severe problem. On this one there were many changes including the tiles that were made by your husband, if unfortunately he did not communicate them with you that is not anything that I can control. And the permits were being handled by your husband as well at his request
