We just finished building with Simister and it was a great experience. We have experienced home renovations and one other complete build before this and Simster was by far the easiest to work with. The process was smooth and if there were any hiccups they were amended quickly and to our standard. We loved all of the sub contractors that they used. They were all friendly, easy to work with, and genuinely wanted you to be happy with the work. We are really pleased with our experience and are giddy about our new house! Thank you Simister Homes! This can be a really stressful process and we are so grateful to have been with such a great team!

We are already having problems with Stephen. We decided to go with him seeing how his homes are finished. We put 25k down and were excited to go with a spec home thinking the finishes were going to be great but… We asked him to not paint the handrail in the entrance but stain it being beautiful wood and we put it in the contract. We are in South Jordan and go down to check progress when we can. Two weeks went by and nothing was done so we had to rent back from our buyer because he did not meet the deadline. It cost us 5k. Due to the problems with “Covid” we understood. We made a trip down there and the handrail was painted so we thought no problem we know he’ll fix it. Also a bad finish on one part of a newel being notched out. We told our realtor and she said he was completely rude about it and said we can go to mitigation or back out because he can sell it to someone else. He doesn’t have enough guys. WOW Stephen. Really. Thanks and looking forward to what’s next. Good job Stephen. Our 3rd home we built and the 3rd home we’ve had bad experiences with. I thought you’d be a man of integrity. We were wrong.

To say how grateful we are to have built with Simister and how much we absolutely love our home is an understatement. Stephen was honest and straightforward from the beginning of the process.
Of course, every home being built is going to eventually run into mishaps, but the professionalism Steve excecutes it with will make you wonder if there should have been any worry to begin with. The organization through the whole process proves clearly that communication between he & his subs is highly important to him. Any issue we had (which was hardly any) was resolved immediately.
Not to mention, Lori (interior designer) has a unique gift for design and her talent is truly unmatched! Not a single detail was left ignored. The craftsmanship of a Simister home inside & out is beautifully incomparable and definitely stands out! We get many compliments from people who enter our home. Thank you Lori.
I would highly recommend Simister Homes to anyone looking for an honest reliable home builder and someone who actually cares.
