This man is a scam artist. I subcontracted a job from Dwayne, the owner of Simpatico Building Services. It was to paint a reconstructed home. We bid $3000. We received one draw of $800. We worked 22 days in April 2015 caulking his shoddy siding work. We also had painted 1/2 of the house. This work accounted for 80% of the job. Then, NW LA was hit with almost three weeks of continuous rain. It is not acceptable to paint IN the rain. We came back the first day with no chance of rain. He met us at our vehicle to inform us that he wouldn't allow us to finish the job and that we will receive none of the money we were owed. It is my fault that he had both copies of the contract. I estimate that he still owes us $1600. 2 months later, I found out that he did the same thing to the two gentlemen who were painting his horrible Sheetrock work. He owes them $3100. I drove by the job four months later and the job was in the same state as when we left. AVOID DWAYNE at ALL COSTS!!!
