    We were searching for a contractor who would help us renovate our kitchen. And we were pretty fortunate to find Sammy from SJZ Construction. He didn’t have any of the facade we faced with other contractors, and was simply east to talk to. Sammy and his team did a great job. Admittedly we kind of pressed him with our timeline, but Sammy managed to get the work done expediently, and had our visiting family marveling over our kitchen for thanksgiving. He’s also been really great at communicating with us about the process, updating us on each step along the way.

    I hired SJZ to do some general repairs and to update a bathroom. Of course I realized I needed additional work done, including removing and rebuilding a patio cover. They also ended up painting most of the interior of the house and having new carpet installed. They noted some other damage along the way (termites and water). And fixed that too. The work was done promptly—sometimes faster than I could prep for them. Very smooth.

    SJZ was pretty impressive. The principal of the company came to my house and actually gave me a price after walking through the property. I had other bids but this guy told me everything to expect. When an issue came up in the bathroom I called him and he took care of it right away. He showed up the next morning to make sure I was happy. And it wasn't even a big deal. Really liked them and would recommend them to others. Good value and loved the quality of the work on the kitchen, new bedroom and bathrooms.
