Did a total home gut job about a year ago on 100 year old house. You name it, bill did it. Windows plumbing framing floors electric. Gutted a 3000 squre foot house with plaster walls in about a 4 days. Knocked out a chimney in the middle of the house. Ran lvl, bumped out stair case. Cut a basement door in side of house. Put in a fireplace. Converted oil to tankless . Steam shower in master bath . When getting into a massive endeavor like that decisions had to be made every day for 4 -6months. Bill and ervin were on call whenever i needed. They guided me on pros and cons of every decision and laid out costs in more than fair manor. The crew were experienced and a joy to be around. Any project is massive stress and requires the customer to oversee and interject on every detail. 1 yr later and looking back at some of the details i stressed over, i dont know how bill put up with me. But he understands the process and tries to guide you in the most efficient manner to minimize costs and maximize value. I consider myself lucky skillz built me a house and look forward to working with them again on exterior work!

Excellent service and workmanship. Used for a number of projects ranging from interior remodeling, outdoor space, and driveway construction. Management is direct, accessible, and transparent. Would definitely recommend, especially if you know what you want and seek to avoid the unnecessary BS games played by many contractors nowadays.

I can’t imagine why this builder would have one star. While searching to reconnect as I used Skill several years ago I came upon this review, I could not, not leave a fair review as I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Skill redesigned my blue stone patio and built an amazing fireplace and grilling/outdoor kitchen area for a very reasonable cost. Billy was available for every question and concern without fail. Now that I’ve found the company phone number again, in my search, I will be calling to remodel my kitchen. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Excellence quality work and very reliable. Finished in time frame I was promised. Would recommend them highly.

I worked with Billy on a new gas fireplace install. We ran into a few issues which delayed the project a week or two (out of his control though) and I appreciated his communication throughout. The finished product looks great.
