Dieter Skowrun is an unethical person and horrible general contractor. He frequently missed meetings with us, wasting our time. Many times the subcontractors waited around and ask my wife and I what to do. My wife and I had to clean up the job site ourselves daily as our neighbors complained. At one point I referred to terms in our contract and he confessed that he never the contract. He didn't follow our architects plans and built our garage below grade so that rainwater and snow melt from the alley comes into our garage. Our concrete roof deck leaks into our master bedroom and our master shower leaks into our kitchen. He promised to fix these saying he needed some time. Then after three months, I called him and he told me he filed for bankruptcy and had no legal obligation to help our family.
