Picking Skyview Construction LLC (Morristown, NJ) and Mark was a huge mistake! In the beginning Mark is so nice and makes everything sound rosy, and by the end of your project you will be miserable and must perform litigation for his mistakes and pay for/fix items he has left for you.
I will say his subs are very good and perform quality work, and likely the only reason there may be any positive reviews for Skyview.
Marks scheduling and organization skills are horrible (30 years experience?!?). I had to step up and do most of what he was supposed to do – meet with inspectors and fix and pay for the mistakes he made. Be prepared for him to be absent during your project. He turned a 4-month project into a 14 month one that still is not complete.
Be prepared to pay double the price he quotes as well. He lies to you with the price in the beginning and then you are stuck with him as the costs double before your eyes.
I just want to get as far away as possible from Skyview at this point, but I can’t because he is currently trying to extort money from me by holding my kitchen cabinets from being shipped. I have paid for the cabinets (and his fee) in full, and yet he now claims I own him another 5k.
Buyer beware – you have been warned that Skyview/Mark is dishonest in my experience.
