Nino of SLIPAC is in Chapter 11. So you have little odds of being reimbursed for bad work or non completion. Rip Off. His workers stole from me. They stole my birth certificates, passport from my desk. Stole my standard sized new Bali Blinds for Bathroom and Kitchen. I had to go to the hospital. I had given Nino of SLIPAC (the owner of SLIPAC) keys to my home to finish the work. When I returned the job was not done. Two computers were missing. Charged me twice for one job. Never returned to finish the job. Wanted to be paid cash. He tried to get kickbacks from other contractors. When I decided to get the cultured marble installed myself, he insisted that he take care of it for $1800 cash. I gave him the cash and called the BP marble in oakland later. Turns out it was only $1100 installed according to the manger at BP Marble. When BP returned they insisted on talking with Nino. Then they charged me $1250 for each bathroom. The prices always went up when Nino was involved in the job. I ordered a shower door using a company suggested by Nino. Nino was on the phone with them and Nino quoted my $1250. I decided not to do it. Two weeks later I called them myself and they told me $600 for a custom shower door. This guy is a creep. Do not have him do anything without a contract. Always hold back significant payment in retention. Do not let him in your home alone. His workers steal from you. Never let hime have a key. Always have someone in the house with him or his workers. Change your locks where they are done. Something will go wrong everytime you work with this guy. He will keep coming back for more and more money because he does not do the job correctly. He will suggest Braco plumbing. Braco will do good work only if you hold payment in retention. He is probably in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy also. Braco will behave the same way unless you take the same precautions. Both are in financial dire straights. Nino is the worse. A happy smiley face but he will take you if you are not careful.

I trust Nino Slipac implicitly. He is an honest, very hard-working man with the highest morals and ethics. The above reviewer must have had a series of unfortunate events (believe me, though -- if the reviewer was actually working with Nino himself, it is very difficult for me to believe that Nino was personally, physically involved). Nino would give you the shirt off his back, he is THAT kind of person, with a big heart and a keen eye to produce the highest quality product available. He will not cut corners and he will tell you exactly what is right -- so please do not take one random, old posting as gospel. When you meet Nino Slipac, you will realize at once that he is an expert contractor (not to mention, a super nice guy), who will get the job done (as he has for me and many of my friends/acquaintenances), and done extremely well. Contact me for references if you like. Cheers!
