I had solar fans and insulation installed on May 19th and it is making a rattling noise that can be heard inside the house. I have called 888-405-8689 repeatedly without a soul answering the phone. I have left messages and no one has returned my call. I have sent an email to [email protected] without any response either.

How can a company that has a 25 year warranty on their product not support customers who have spent $8000 on their products??

At their dinner, they asked for three names of your friends so they can enter you into a raffle for a gift card. We won the gift card and we’ve asked about it four times and we were completely ignored. They said they would come out to drop it off and nothing. Integrity doesn’t go far with this company.

Please consider the lack of support if you’re going with this company!

Please DO NOT give them the names of your friends either because they don’t keep their word. It’s the principle behind it. If they can’t keep their word on small things, then they WILL NOT on important and bigger issues.

I was planning on having them back for solar blanket installation after our home remodel and solar panels but they have completely shut the door on that.

I was very pleased with everything.. the company does sales talks about solar and other energy saving products up at Luna periodically. I would recommend that anyone interested goes to one of those.

They were good with the installation, although they tended to over promise on installation dates. That was mainly due to the problems of their suppliers: too much demand, not enough supply, causing delays. I also found that they were a bit pricey.

Free dinner, every question answered 'Yes'. Truth was no. Energy audit at house- none. Promises made that could not be kept. Sol-blanket (made in China) was the push. Over-priced for work.

We received an invitation to a free meal at a well-known Idaho Falls restaurant to listen to a presentation on possible ways to save money on energy bills. We didn't intend to purchase anything but wanted to see what kind of products for being demonstrated. There was no harm in attending and we got a free meal besides. We were actually surprised to find out that there was no pressure to buy any of the products and when they were demonstrated they spoke for themselves. The presentation was informative and entertaining. The installers were prompt, professional, informative and great to work with. Before the installation of the insulation blanket was begun the installers went to the house to make sure the lights and fans were working. After the install was completed they went through again to make sure they still did. We also had one solar attic fan installed. We have found that the garage is markedly cooler than it used to be in the air conditioner does not come on as often as it used to in the house. I would recommend Smart Energy Today for anyone who wants to try and save money on energy costs

We went to an information dinner because the restaurant was the best in town and we wanted a night together. We were pleased with the presentation and the no-pressure approach. We felt we could use some of the products. We do not have central air in our home of 17 years. 20-30 days a year the heat forced us to sleep in the basement. We had the Sol-blanket installed in the attic and noticed an immediate difference in the temperature of the upper floors. We had a solar fan installed also to increase the life of the roof, but also to drive out the warm attic air. We have been totally satisfied with the work. Smart Energy were 100% on their promises and statements. It will be a great investment for our present comfort and future savings.

I wanted to touch base and let you know that we were very satisfied with the installation crew - As promised they were very courteous and efficient! They got right to work and handled meeting Bear, (My very large and anxiety ridden rescue dog) very well - They were in and out in about 2 hours leaving everything back in it's place! It was fairly warm the day they installed the attic blanket and I do believe I could tell the difference within a short time after they completed the install. They delivered as promised with a very courteous and efficient crew - We are extremely happy with the product and the service! Highly recommend this company and it's products!

Purchased 2 solar fans. Which they brand as "Smart Air Ventilation" Got one for our attic and the 2nd for our crawl space ( which has always been damp and musty smelling) and WOW its made a huge difference in our home. The standing water is almost gone and the damp muddy areas's are drying out fast along with the musty smell is gone.

Weve only had a few hot days so far this year but we noticed a big improvement in our home that it was much cooler with the attic fan running all day.... All the installers were professional and did a great job along with the sales guy.... Very happy so far!

Smart Energy Today did what I hired them to do and I have no complaints. I had read on review sites they usually show up early - and they did. We had a few snags during the installation process - but with each one they clearly communicated to me what was going on and then offered a reasonable solution. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Our Experience was great. Im a repeat customer now. We met with Smart Energy Today back in Aug. of 2013 after attending their dinner presentation at Anthony's Home Port in Olympia. It was personal and informative, and our first home appointment went great as well. We purchased the Sol-Blanket Insulation for our attic and a Solar attic fan and immediately noticed a difference in our upstairs. It use to be so hot upstairs that we would sometimes sleep in the basement (even with AC). After the Sol-Blanket and Fan being installed our upstairs was much more comfortable. This winter was different as well. We use to always a have a space heater in our master bedroom and our heater would constantly cycle. We have been tracking a 14-22% savings on our energy bill since having the products installed. And our heater cycles less now. After the sale, we set an install date for 2 days later. A 4 man crew showed up in company shirts on time, they worked hard in the attic heat and did a great job.

Last week 3-14-14, we deiced to complete the process and have the Sol-Blanket installed in our crawl space. Once a again, a 4 man crew showed up on time and the final result looks great.
