  This company came to my home to repair my heatpump that had a failed compressor due to being grounded. But this company works in favour of the home wararanty company. They reported to the warranty company that the compressor failed due to the debris(that was not even 1/20th of the space in the condenser) but not due to the heat wave that was going on during the 3rd week of July- with temperatures crossing 110degrees. They do whatever to please the home warranty company so that the home warranty can claim that the compressor failed due lack of maintenance. Not sure if one should go with this company.

  smart penguin came to fix my a/c on 5/2/18. The tech was very nice, knew what he was doing and give me answers to my question about installing a new a/c. he was very easy to talk to. I would recommend them to all of my family and freinds

  To fix the heating system, it was not heating as it should and run continously day and night.uS

  Working with Smart Penguin a/c heating was a very positive experience. I must say, no other heating companies/technician has done what Smart Penguin did. The Technician, Frank, after introducing himself and explaining the purpose of his visit, and after I showed him & explained the problem we were having with the heating system, he went directly upstairs to the attic to look for the problem. Minutes later, he came down told me he had found the problem, showed me the part he needed to replace and said he would come back once he had the part. He contacted Choice Warranty & they ok'd his findings. Frank called the following day and told me he would come back in the late afternoon to replace the part. He came in as he said he would, replaced the part and stayed to make sure the heating system was working as it should. To make a long story short, two techs had come in before Smart Penguin and they failed to fix the problem with the heating system. One replaced a good thermostat with a not so good one and the heating system continued to not work properly (The problem was not the thermostat!). Smart Penguin did the job and they did a good job. The heating system is working beautifully and the thermostat regulates the heat as it should because the heating system is ok. I must say that Frank is a true professional, friendly and knows his work. I highly recommend Smart Penguin--a great company.
