Do not use this company unless you wish to be mislead, insulted and then disrespected aggressively. I hired the owner, Nick Vara, 623-734-1889; smarttechphx.com as a authorized dealer with ADT approximately 5/18/2021. Since the date of install, he has made over 5 visits to my home to "repair" the system. I hired Mr. Vara to installed a security system (video doorbell and video monitor camera) that was NOT wifi dependent. I shared with him that I had my new home hardwired to insure that I would not need Wi-Fi due to its unreliability. I later learned during a storm when my WIFI went out that he had lied. When I contacted the Mr. Vara to fix it, he sent me a bill for $2404.00 to change to the "right" system. I contacted ADT's customer service on 8/13 to file a compliant and to discontinue service. On 9/14/2021, I was told to pay $1224.00 to end my contract even though I was in the 6 month guarantee period.
Side note, my motion sensors ha ve never worked "because it is not an exact science" per Mr. Vara and ADT. He has never returned to reinstall my doorbell. He has strung me along since June on those items. When he had finally had enough of lying to me, he yelled at me and hung up on me during our last conversation on 9/3/21.
